LFG CYCLING
Built From the Ground Up.
LFG Cycling started with a simple idea:
Neglected bicycles don’t have to stay neglected.
What started with finding used bikes, figuring out what they needed, and bringing them back to life has grown into something much bigger.
Today, LFG Cycling focuses on bicycle restoration, complete builds, mechanical work, upgrades, and cycling content—while documenting the process from the workbench to the road.
Where It Started
LFG Cycling began with used bicycles.
Finding bikes that had been neglected, overlooked, or simply needed some mechanical attention became a way to learn how bicycles actually work.
Every bike was a new problem to solve.
Some needed a simple adjustment. Others needed parts replaced, a deep cleaning, or a complete rebuild.
The more bikes I worked on, the more I wanted to understand the mechanics behind them—and the more I realized how much potential there was in bicycles that other people had written off.
That eventually turned into buying, restoring, and selling bikes.
And that was the beginning of LFG Cycling.
From Flipping Bikes to Building Them
Flipping bikes taught me a lot.
How to find bikes worth buying.
How to spot problems before spending money.
How to source parts.
How to repair and rebuild bicycles.
How to determine what a bike is actually worth.
And, probably most importantly, how to figure things out when something doesn’t go according to plan.
But eventually, I wanted to build more than just bikes that were ready to sell.
I wanted to build better bikes from the ground up.
That led to carbon road bikes, complete builds, restorations, component upgrades, and increasingly detailed mechanical work.
LFG Cycling has continued to evolve from there.
What LFG Cycling Is Today
LFG Cycling is a bicycle restoration, build, and mechanical-focused business built around hands-on bicycle work and sharing what happens behind the scenes.
The work generally falls into four areas:
BUILD
Complete bicycles built from framesets and individual components, from practical road bikes to performance-focused carbon builds.
RESTORE
Bringing neglected, older, or incomplete bicycles back to life through cleaning, repair, replacement parts, and careful mechanical work.
FIX
Diagnosing problems, servicing components, making adjustments, and solving the mechanical issues that keep bicycles from working the way they should.
RIDE
Because the whole point of building and fixing a bicycle is eventually getting it back on the road.
More Than Just the Bike
The bicycles are only part of LFG Cycling.
I also document the process through YouTube, Instagram, and other platforms, sharing builds, restorations, repairs, experiments, and the things I learn along the way.
Some projects are carefully planned.
Others start with a cheap bike, a questionable purchase, or a problem that needs solving.
Either way, the goal is the same:
Do the work. Learn something. Build something worth riding.
The LFG Approach
I believe you learn the most by actually working on things.
That means getting your hands dirty, taking things apart, weighing components, testing different setups, figuring out why something isn’t working, and occasionally realizing that the solution you thought would take ten minutes is going to take two hours.
That’s part of the process.
LFG Cycling isn’t about pretending every project goes perfectly.
It’s about showing the real process—the good builds, the mistakes, the problems, the fixes, and the finished bicycle.
